By examining the reaction of the Jewish Sanhedrin to the undeniable testimony of Peter and John, Pastor Rich Malcolm demonstrates that people often act a certain way because they live according to fear. In this case the Pharisees knew that they would lose favor with the people if they prosecuted Peter and James further because the people “were all glorifying God for what had happened (Acts 4:21).” Rich reminded us that “whenever we do not live for God or for the truth of His word, we are living for ourselves.” This is especially true when it comes to sharing our faith.
